How thebikeping uses your data to provide Canyon availability alerts.
Last updated: 20 September 2026
1. Contact
thebikeping is responsible for the data described here. For questions or privacy requests, email info@thebikeping.com.
2. Data and purpose
We store your email address and the Canyon product link, identifier, color, and frame size you choose. We also keep check times, availability messages, delivery records, errors, and basic server logs.
We use this data to verify your email, monitor the selected bike, send requested alerts, prevent duplicate checks, and operate the service. This processing is necessary to provide the alert service you request. Without a valid email address and Canyon link, we cannot provide it.
3. Service providers
Our hosting and email providers process data only as needed to run the service and deliver alerts. They may process data outside the European Economic Area using an adequacy decision or other appropriate safeguards where required.
4. Retention
We keep your email address while you have an active alert. An alert ends when the bike becomes available, after 90 days, or when you stop it. Inactive subscriptions and related personal notification records are deleted after a further 90 days.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data. You can stop an alert using the link in any email. To exercise your rights, email info@thebikeping.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
6. Cookies
thebikeping does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
